Spotlight: Ocean Gray Gulfman GW-9125D-8JF

Posted the 4th day of May in 2008 by Riley.

The new Ocean Gray Atomic Gulfman just arrived. This one is part of the latest 25th Anniversary series from Casio. It's a sharp looking G-Shock with the mirrored LCD, translucent gray jelly band and bezel, and gold metal features. Take a closer look in the photos and video.

Be sure to check out the awesome backlight in the video.

This model feels nice on the wrist. It's not nearly as heavy and clunky as a Frogman. It's got all the best features and the display looks amazing. Overall I'm really happy with this one, but I'm going to save wearing it for special occasions. It almost looks too nice.

Riley - congrats on your new addition. It looks awesome. I've been eyeing that one for a while. The gold trim suprised me, I didn't expect that. Looks sharp.

Where did you pick it up…Seiya?

My current decision point: hunt down the Ocean Gray Gulfman myself, or wait out for the Riseman. The current announcement about the clear jelly Gulfman tempts me too, but I'm coming back to the Ocean Gray. I also eyed the Master Blue edition, and I think the blue is better done on the Frog and Mudman than the Gulfman. Perhaps that's just me.

    Regards…craig.

Thanks I'm glad you like it ck. This one really stands out in person, and I haven't seen too many photos of this one online yet. It was a very pleasant surprise present for me. My only slight criticism is that I think it might have looked better with a gold tone bezel, instead of the silver chrome.
