GW-5000B-1 G-Shock on 50Gs

Sjors has posted a new 50Gs article on the GW-5000B-1. This G-Shock has Multiband 6 atomic time sync. It's only been released in Japan so far, and it has an amazing street price of around $400 USD. It has a stainless steel case with a screwback and DLC coating, but it seems like a high price to pay. Follow the link over and read all about what this one has to offer.

I reeeaally like this one. Any idea if these will be released in the US and/or come down in price?

I wish this one would get a US release and a lower price. So far there's been nothing to indicate it though.

If you read Sjors' article you can see that Casio made this one their new flagship G-Shock with some special features. It's really nice, but I just can't justify the price. It will be interesting to see if this one ever becomes are collector's item that increases in value. I don't think it's a limited edition, but they can't be selling too many of these.

:( I might have to save up and get it. My next G is between this and the Spike Lee model. I like that this one has almost the same module as my GW-5525A-1, which makes it more useful and helps me justify paying the $$$.
