My three Men In Mat Black G-Shocks arrived today. These three watches look really nice. There's the GW-9010MB-1JF Mudman, GW-9200MBJ-1JF Riseman and GW-9100MB-1JF Gulfman. Take a look at the video for a full rundown on these. And there's also some photos below.

There's still no explanation as to why these are named "Mat Black" instead of "Matte Black". That doesn't seem to be proper English, no matter how you slice it.
awesome pics. does the riseman have a battery indicator? any chance you would be willing to give up your source? i found some on ebay but not sure if they are trustworthy.
Yes, the Riseman has a battery indicator on the left side of the LCD. It's a little wedge shaped area. There's just L, M and H for Low, Medium and High. You can see the H glowing in the backlight shot.
I special ordered mine when they were first released from Higuchi-inc. He might not be able to get any more now though. Casio didn't seem to make very many of these.
There's an eBay seller in Japan that seems to be reputable. Other than that I don't know of any other definite sources.
