The GMT+9 blog has a new review of the GWF-1000-1JF Frogman. It's great to see some real world photos of this new monster. Pete covers this one with a very objective review. The new design has drawn a lot of criticism, but it looks like this one works nicely. The price is really the only major downside to this one.

The major disadvantage of this watch is is the resin on the back which gets "old" quickly if u wear this watch a lot and is hard to find a spare one.The other disadvantage compared to the older models is that this one is made of stainless still instead of titanium.
? This watch deserves a saphyre crystal. My opinion is that the GW 200Z-1JF looks the best.It looks like the DW 6300 from 1993 (the very first frogman) updated with tough solar and titanium body and the shark fin designed band. The buttons on the GWF 1000 are cool, the tide graph and the moon phase 'if u need them" and the multiband 6 function is a must have.
I am almost shure that this model will be released in a titanium version after 2 years and maybe they will add a saphyre crystal and a carbon fiber band, sounds cool huh
