Casio USA has announced that the G-Rescue GW-7900B-1 G-Shock will be released to the US market. It has a new retail price of $150 USD and is available now supposedly.
The GW7900B, a sleek black on black color way with a reverse LCD, now features Non-Stop, Tough Solar Power and Self Adjusting Multi-Band 6 Atomic Timekeeping for superior accuracy and reliability.
The new GW7900B digital watch possesses a stylish, large case with superior four-point protection, made by 4 large screws on the bezel to form a nearly impenetrable line of defense. The largest buttons in G-Shock history improve button operability, even while wearing gloves. For a high performance fit and superior shock resistance, the G-RESCUE features back case shock absorbers to stabilize the watch and protect the case from impact.

Does anyone know where this is available?
The press release says:
"The G-RESCUE GW7900B is available nationwide and online"
It's probably going to take a few days at least before it's widely available.
I'm hoping for a street price of around $90 USD, but only time will tell.
