The GW-2310 G-Shock was recently released in Japan, and now there's been confirmation that it will be released in Europe and other markets. The retail price is going to be about $230 USD in Europe, and it should be about 30% cheaper in the US market. This watch features an updated module inside the classic shell of a G-2310 G-Shock. This one seems nice, but it probably won't be too popular until the street price gets down to around $100 USD.

This one has been out overseas already, along with the non-atomic G2310R.
Have been looking forward to this one, but unfortunately certain trival features have been missing, so I've to cross this one out from my wishlist.
Turns out the stopwatch does not have auto-start anymore, and the timer has no auto-repeat function and progress beeper. All these were available on the older G2300/2310.
As of this writing the GW2310 manual (3195) is still not available yet, but the G2310R (3192) is already available for download. Go take a look.
It's always odd when they remove features from the newer and more expensive atomic variations. I wonder if it's some kind of memory or battery limitation. There's other models wher the 24 hour timers were changed to 60 minutes.
