Play Cloths x G-Shock Collaboration DW-6900

Posted the 1st day of February in 2010 by Riley.

The Play Cloths brand has announced a new limited edition G-Shock. It's a red DW-6900 with a negative LCD and racing stripes down the middle of the band. This collaboration watch was designed by Clipse. It's due to be released in March. No word on numbers produced or exact price, but it will probably be in the $150 range.

This one is very cool! The total red case and display are a better idea than those forthcoming mono color ana-digi's. They are UK based, that's interesting. Maybe I can get one.

I thought you would like the red Sjors. How do you like the stripes? There is that small logo on the face, but this watch is definitely very RED.

    Hi Riley,

I very much like this design. The stripes are just a perfect contrast. The whole red case looks somewhat surreal. Frankly I do not like all red models (as I actually also do not dislike all blue models, 笑). On this watch everything looks right for me.

G-Shock has a lot of great stuff for us this year. I like the new Crazy Colors (though I think not many will agree with me) and the GA-110 models look all interesting too. Funny detail, I like the green B version, Eva likes the red B version. This should normally be other way around, LOL.

    Cheers,

    Sjors
