G-Shock Videos of the Day

Posted the 24th day of February in 2010 by Riley.

Here's a firsthand look at the limited edition Rail Star DW-6900, as well as the four shiny new DW6900CB G-Shocks from the newest series. These all came from Japan, and Paul Micken gives us a look at each of the watches.

Doton1221 made this unboxing video of the new Go Green G6900GR-3J G-Shock.

The next couple videos get honorable mention. It's great to see some younger guys making the effort. Hopefully they will get better at shooting the videos over time.

Here's scrillababy128 showing off his white Crazy Colors DW6900CS-7DR.

And RecklessKidsz has this video of his Crazy Colors DW-6900CS-7DR.

Note: It looks like the G-Shocks in the second two videos came in boxes that were meant for other models. It's a common problem in stores that take the watches out of the box and put them in a display case. When you buy one, they might just grab the first G-Shock box they see, and give it to you in that. You should check to make sure the model number printed on the box matches your G-Shock, and that the module number printed on the manual matches the one engraved in the case back.

One nice thing about online retailers is that this mix up rarely happens (they don't take them out of the box usually). If you're just going to toss out this stuff anyways, then it doesn't really matter. But collectors will usually care about these things, and it's nice to have a manual that you can actually use for your watch.

    Hi Riley,

Good news for us, I already saw the DW-6900CB models for sale in Canada and Germany. The black, silver and red are awesome! Let's hope they will be releast in East Asia. The prices are often best for me there.

The last two reviewers seem to be very excited and happy with there new watch :-)

    Cheers,

    Sjors
