Seiya has posted news of the Men In Earth Blue GW-9200BLJ-2JF Riseman release today in Japan. This G-Shock has a retail price of $330 USD. The street price should be around $280. You can order one now if you want one. There might be a non-atomic G-9200 version for export markets, but it hasn't been announced yet.

Some may like it, but others don't. And I'm the latter.
These years Casio has been emphasizing style and different color schemes on existing models, rather than actual new models/modules. And these flashy colors usually can't hold up for long.
I've already heard numerous complaints from some online users that their white G-Shock bezels start to dis-color and that paintwork has begun to chip off from the corners. If that happens on white models, then probably other colors will end up the same.
Meanwhile, colored LCD panels is another turn-off, like on this blue Riseman.
When I opt for a digital timepiece, I expect an LCD display that can be easily viewed, as well as displaying data clearly. These colored LCDs, as well as those reverse panels (ie. black background with light digits) fail to deliver just that and are constantly giving people a real headache.
