GW3500B-1A Casio G-Shock Aviator

Another brand new G-Shock has been spotted in the Shock The World 2010 catalog. The GW-3500B-1A is a G-Aviator watch with a yellow on black color scheme. It's an analog/digital model that follows in the footsteps of the G-Shocks in the GW-2500 and GW-3000 series. This module features Multiband 6 atomic sync, Tough Solar charging and a Tough MVT movement. And this version comes on a resin strap. It's nice to have some more options to choose from.

I wonder if the light actually makes the analog hands readable. I've been waiting for an analog atomic solar model that's actually readable in the dark for a long time.

I find that the analog casio's with the light are a little lacking in the nite mode viewing.

I just don't get why they've never used an EL backlight on an analog model. I understand the solar material and the EL can't occupy the same space but there's plenty of digital models than manager it.
