    I have one of these from 1995!!!

    but the casing is crumbling with age. Do you know if i could get a casing for it? I find it hard to retire such a great watch.

    wowif i would have been at home i would have sent u a free strap i own a few dw-002's and have extra straps so when i get home[ over seas] i'll hit u up if u haven't found them i'll send u one on the house....

    I just bought a very similar watch from Ebay, but it's the Hip Hop version. I noticed from the pics that the band is really worn out. U still have any extra bands lying around the house? I'll gladly pay you for one if you do. My other option seems to be to get a generic band from WalMart or something...

    I just read this msg lol. Soooooo late, It's not the strap that's the problem its the casing. I tried to wear it this weekend and the thing is falling apart in my hands, kind of sad really as the watch is still as good as gold! I've earmarked 8, yes 8 new G-Shocks to add to the collection between now and Christmas but as good as this collection will be, it wont be complete with a retired DW-002

    @ peteralomia, keep an eye out on the German e-bay(e-bay.de) and the uk e-bay(e-bay.co.uk) for DW-002's they come up all the time and i got a really MINT DW-002 by checking the bay every week! They do come up so keep checking!
