    g'day Riley
    hope you can throw some light on a g-shock i accuired recently second hand for $2 bucks!!!
    its a g7900,module 3194 made in thailand .the question being did the first 3194 modules have less features?

    All 3194 modules should be the same. It just has the usual G-Shock features and a tide graph. No solar or atomic.

    having read a few clues on picking duds was hoping it was just operator error ,can only get time,st,and alarm when i hit the c (mode) button ! any suggestions as to what im doing wrong ? and cant get the auto ilum to work

    Just read through the manual. It's easy once you get the hang of it.

    And make sure yours is actually a real one. There's a lot of fakes floating around. $2 is really really cheap for a real one.

    i downloaded the manual and it dosn't respond to commands as per the manual so i guess it probably is a dud ! pity, cause i really would have liked to get it operational!
