Gulfman tides and moon phases

    Hi guys,
    How does a Gulfman "know" what the tide level is?

    It can not be the same everywhere on earth?

    and, after a battery change is the watch still waterproof or is it not after the "seal" is broken?

    I am new to this so please excuse my ignorance.

    Welcome to the forum.

    You have to manually enter some details on your location in the world for the Gulfman to accurately calculate the tide graph. It requires input of your longitude and lunitidal interval.

    Yes, a G-Shock will still be just as waterproof after a battery change if it's done correctly. The rubber gasket needs to be lubricated with silicone grease, and replaced if it's rotted.
