Hi. Just got a GW-6900-1ER. I am curious about the mechanism behind the light button on the front of the watch - it lacks any tactile feedback. I expected it to be springy but it just seems flat, stiff and remains flush to the body of the watch when depressed. Any info would be welcomed, many thanks.

I don't have one, but I think it should work like the center light button on other G-Shocks. It should depress a bit, but it might just be very stiff. It could possibly be a defect though. You could try removing the bezel and checking it out.

Some of the mechanisms are different sizes and thats the reason you get springy of a flat feel... The button is a button/stem peice that is the piece on your watchthat might be either damaged or simply not broken into yet... All of mine are springy! GOOD LUCK
