Pin removal on DW-5200 Casio Watch


  1. There are 4 pins on my DW-5200 Casio watch that I need to remove in order to put on a new Bezel. However, the pins are difficult to remove. Any ideas?

    The four bezel screws on an old G-Shock can be a little tricky to remove. If you're not careful you can strip the screw or even break it off completely leaving the end still inside.

    The best thing is a good screwdriver bit that fits the small screw perfectly. If you apply firm centered pressure is should come out like a normal screw. Just don't force it. Replacement screws can be ordered, but it's a real pain to deal with one that's broken off.

    Also, after the four screws are removed, be very careful removing the resin bezel piece. Old ones can be very brittle and can fall apart when stressed.
