Need advice on stealthing non-resin g-shock parts.
attempting to stealth a GW 7900B.
got the bezel off and removed white letters with goof off.
Figuered out the hard way that the illumination button was made of plastic and well,it melted.
Luckily i was able to do an exchange for a brand new one.
any advice other than goof off 2?
also, has anyone considered using zagg invisi-shield as a mineral crystal face protector?
After removing the bezel,i used it as a template for cuting out a small section of zagg invisi-shield to help better protect the face from scratches.
ive used it on other watches and during my time as a cellphone salesman it made for a great demo.
the invisi-shield takes quite a beating just like the watch and the only downside i find is that ot is suceptible to above average or repeated exposure to heat.other than that,it makes for a nice extra bit of protection.
sorry for the rant and if any of this has already been posted.
