What do the little dials indicate?

  1. I just bought my first G-Shock, and I love it. It's a GW-500A Atomic Tough Solar, and it has three little dials on the watchface. There's nothing in the documentation explaining these little dials. Can someone tell me what they indicate?

    Thanks,

I don't have one in front of me to check, but in general those eyes are just eye candy that change with the time. They usually change based on various intervals of time (10 minutes maybe for some).

There are a few that serve a more useful purpose, but it would be explained in the manual if that's the case.

Thanks Thomas. It looks like two of them actually do something useful. I guess you have to read the manual.

I've always liked the look of the eye that does time increments (like the Frogman), but I've never found it particularly useful.
