Goof Off is a powerful paint remover that works great for removing the painted text from most G-Shock models. A small continaer should last for at least a dozen stealth jobs if you don't go overboard with it.

Goof Off 2

Goof Off 2 is a newer version of the product that is safer for use on plastics. Normal Goof Off will melt many types of plastics, so it can really screw up buttons and other non-resin parts on G-Shocks.

Goof Off Alternatives

• WUS user sharpie in Germany found Revell Airbrush Clean to be a good product for removing paint on his G-Shock. It can be found in hobby shops.

UK Equivalent

• EVO-STICK Adhesive Cleaner and it is available from the likes of B&Q for £2.98 for a 250 ml tin.

(Just be careful with EVO-STICK. I left my DW-5600 bezel in it for about 35min, and it stretched a bit, and is now a little big for the module. -dean0070_8)
