Tools
- Philips screwdriver - Most sets of small precision screwdrivers will include one that will work on Casio G-Shock screws. This one is from a $6 Husky screwdriver set is available at Home Depot stores, and has worked well for many G-Shockers - Link
Here's a photo of a good one for G-Shock screws:
- Spring bar removal tool - You can use a slotted flat-head screwdriver or a specialty tool found easily on eBay - eBay Search Get the Bergeon 6767-F spring bar tool if you want a really good one (they're a little harder to find though).
- Screwback case opener - There's couple variations of this tool. Some have two adjustible pins, but the better ones have three. Here's an example of a good one:

Crystal Polish
- Products to remove scratches in watch faces.
- Polywatch - for polishing watch crystals - eBay Search
Note: it's mainly aimed at plastic or acrylic materials, it also has been proven to remove shallow scratches in crystal watch faces.
- Brasso has also been recommended for polishing.

Be careful when polishing a G-Shock crystal. You should probably also remove the bezel first.
Goof Off
Goof Off is used for stealthing (removing paint) your G-Shock.
Polarizing Film
If you want to reverse the display of your G-Shock you need some polarizing film. Guide: How to convert a plain DW-5600 LCD to a negative display

Silicone Grease
Silicone Grease (aka dielectric grease - auto supply shop) Use on the rubber gasket before sealing the watch back up. This will prolong the life of the gasket and keep it nice and water-proof.
